Pictures of....you guessed it, Jacoby!

Right after Jacoby was born my sister, Steph, took some adorable naked pictures of him, but I've been wanting to do some for awhile, so I finally got around to it. It's definitely harder now that he's older, I had to turn the heat up really high so I could take off his outfit and get him to sleep. However, there was no way I was gonna be able to take his little diaper off, he definitely would've woken up. Well it was sure fun. Can't wait to scrap them, I have all sorts of ideas for these pages already. The middle picture is from my shoot and the last one is just a cute one of him holding onto my finger. I just threw this first one it, because I just love it. I can never get enough of taking pictures of my little man. :)

Jacoby's First Winter

I just finished this page of Jacoby for his first winter. It was a fun page to do, I loved all the photos of him in his snow clothes, I couldn't decide which one to use.

He's Goin' to Brazil

My brother, Thomas, received his mission call to the Campinas, Brazil mission! We all put in guesses of where he would go and the date he would enter the M.T.C. Well I actually guessed Brazil, ha ha. There were three of us who guessed Brazil, but my brother-in-law, Devan, guessed both Brazil and the date April 28, so he was definitely the closest. It was a pretty awesome experience to watch Thomas open his call and read it out loud. After he opened it we started looking up all sorts of things about his mission and found out lots of awesome things. Just a few things we found out, there's a temple in his mission, which is awesome, and it's a really warm climate, that lucky duck. He will leave April 29, and go straight to the M.T.C. in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Thomas is my only brother, so this is defnitely a new experience for our family. I'm really trying not to think about him leaving and being gone for two years, but I really do want him to go, I would be more sad if he didn't. We're so proud of Thomas and the great kid that he is, we know he will be a wonderful missionary. We love ya Tom!

Little Man is 5 months

We can hardly believe that Jacoby is 5 months today!! He's a growing boy and weighs almost 17 pounds and is 28 inches, he's a big kid. He's wearing 6-9 month clothes now. I feel like I always need to try outfits on him to make sure he hasn't grown out of something and will actually be able to wear to wear stuff more than a few times, but he's not a fan of dress up. We love Jacoby so much, he brings so much joy to our lives. He's finally starting to sleep a little better, wakes up once or twice at night and probably once a week will sleep all night long! I love those mornings, I feel so good! :) Jacoby loves toys now and will shake his rattles and suck on just about anything he can get to his mouth. He is a big time drooler and slobbers all over the place. He is in love with baths now and kicks like crazy to make splashes. About two weeks ago we started feeding him rice cereal at nights and he's doing really well with that, but is SO messy, I've gotta post some pictures of him, he's crazy! He's also discovering his little feet and loves to grab hold of them and play with them. He's becoming an expert roller, but gets frustrated when he's stuck and can't roll back over. He's still in love with his binkie, and we are a fan too. Whatever makes him happy, makes us VERY happy. He's sleeping in his crib in his bedroom now and it still makes me sad at nights to not have him in our room with us, but I sleep so much better and so does he. (Not Tyler, he could sleep through anything, doesn't matter.) Most recently he's finally acting interested when we're eating and he starts smackin' his gums. We love you Jacoby, you're the BEST!

Back to School

Well last Wednesday was my first day back to school! I have been dreading this for five months. It's just one class I'm taking, so not too bad, but I know it's going to be a little difficult to juggle school and taking care of my boys. I know that I need to finish school, and I really want to so I'm trying to have a good attitude, but well that's not working very well. :) I came home from class Wednesday morning and pretty much had a breakdown, it was rough. My sister, Steph has really inspired me to finish since she just graduated from school in December and she had a one-year-old. I will always regret it if I don't finish so here we go... I realize I'm not going to have as much time to do some of the other things I love like digital scrapbook, read, and blog. I guess I'll still continue to take lots of pictures to scrap later. Here are a few pages I've done lately. This is probably my favorite outfit of Jacoby's. I love these car pajamas!

Tyler loves watching his Braves or North Carolina Basketball play any chance he gets...he's even got Jacoby interested. When my sister, Becca, saw this page she said, I'm pretty sure I've seen this same picture, but with different characters: Lonnie, Trey, and Johnny. I thought that was funny. Anyway...I loved this picture of my boys.
